"Great location, awesome food, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. Came in the pouring down rain on 9-16-25 after driving 7 hours there. We were starved and this place hit the spot! The free Vittles were a great 👍 addition to the meals. If you don't order a meal(s) then they'll just charge you for the Vittles. Good food! Prefect location. The sweet tea was good too!"

"Went there this past September 2025 for dinner. Part of the visit was for nostalgia as this was the place we usually took our kids when we took them to the Smoky Mountains year after year. That was a good 25-30 years ago. It looked the same then as it does now. Food is good especially the catfish. They give out "fixins" complementary. Service was attentive. Atmosphere is mildly noisy with an open air dining room and plenty of families gathering. They have a touristy general store area as you pay your bill and head out."
