Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster

"Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster was an absolute blast and one of those activities that everyone in our family genuinely enjoyed. The ride strikes a great balance between exhilarating and safe, which is not always easy to pull off, especially with kids involved. You get real speed, real curves, and real excitement, but it never feels out of control. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up riding twice. The discounted $10 second ride is a great deal and made it an easy decision to go again. The second run was even better once we knew what to expect and felt comfortable letting it rip a little more. One thing we really appreciated was that our big kids were able to drive their own carts. That made the experience even more fun for them and gave them a sense of independence without us feeling nervous about safety. The carts are easy to control, the braking system works well, and everything feels solid and well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient, getting people through the line smoothly while still explaining the rules clearly. The whole operation felt organized and professional, which added to the overall comfort level. If you are looking for something that delivers real thrills without feeling risky, Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is a great choice. It is fun for adults, exciting for kids, and absolutely worth a second ride. We would happily do this again on a future visit."

"Very fun , very large track definitely worth going to this one. Take a $19 a person, but you can get on Groupon.And find discounts for buy one , get one free. It doesn't matter if you buy your tickets in advance or not , it's the amount of people that are there that determines the wait time. From the time we bought tickets to the time we got through the line to the ride.It was an hour and a 1/2 the ride glasses.Approximately 7/9 minutes. But\nIt is so worth it.We had so much fun.It's really a nice unique experience."

"Went during the day. Long wait, they should put down that foam/rubber mat on the concrete, standing for hours is harsh on the body, but it was covered so that was a plus. The ride is a mile down hill, takes 7-8 minutes. Would have been great except the couple in front of me held the breaks so they held the whole ride up (none of us were able to enjoy the ride). The nice thing was that the management gave us free tickets to ride again, however we would have to stand in line again which kinda wasn't cool..ended up not riding again only because after the long wait, there were other things I wanted to do so..plus I couldn't take standing on the concrete for another 2 hours. All in all, I highly recommend! Best time to ride (shortest wait time is 10am, when they open) coolest time to ride, when the sun goes down, the entire place is lit up!"
